What is Bark for Schools?

Bark for Schools is a no-cost solution aimed at enhancing student and school safety. It employs advanced detection methods across platforms including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Chrome, effectively safeguarding students in both online and real-world contexts. The tool is designed to monitor communications—such as emails, chats, and saved files—for potential concerns such as bullying, online predators, sexual content, and suicidal ideation, among others.

This initiative was launched following the tragic Parkland school shooting in 2018, underscoring its commitment to community safety. Bark for Schools is accessible free of charge to all public and private K–12 institutions across the United States, supported by the success of Bark’s offerings for families.
